This is a legal requirement since you will be joining a new company. To complete the application process, simply go to Starvedrockapply.com. Instructions for submitting the application are found at this site. You may visit the SRL Human Resources office for assistance with the application process where you will also have access to computers. Your department managers will be in touch with scheduled times pre-or-post-shift to complete the application process.
After you submit the application, you will be sent, via email, an Offer Letter with a Background Check form which can be completed on line via Adobe Sign. The Offer Letters have an expiration date and you will have 72 hours to electronically sign the Offer and complete the Background Check form.
Once your Background Check clears, you will be asked to take a pre-employment drug test which Human Resources will administer.
Upon successfully passing the drug test, you will receive an electronic invitation to create a user name and password in the new payroll system, Paycor. Once registered in Paycor, you will be able to complete all other required documentation such as your W-4, Direct Deposit, etc.
If you are currently enrolled in a medical/dental/vision plan, you will remain on your current plan and your premiums will continue through payroll deductions. There will be no option to change insurance plans, or enroll if not currently on a plan, as a result of this transaction.
If you participate in the current SRL 401(k) plan, information will be provided to you after the transaction.
We will be hosting video conferences addressing our on-boarding process, benefits and other transition topics to ensure you have all of the information you need. Dates and times will be forthcoming.
Vacation time (including all banked time, accruals and holiday pay) will be paid out for what has been earned up to the date of the transaction. Following this, you will have a new anniversary date (the date you begin working for the “new SRL”) and will begin to accrue, with no waiting period, at your same rate. If you have an approved vacation that will occur after the transaction, it will be honored, however, it will be unpaid since you are being paid out for current earned vacation time.
Yes. We currently offer life insurance, short-term disability, critical illness, accident, and pet insurance. We also offer identity theft and legal protection services. Voluntary benefits are offered to ALL employees regardless of your work status (full-time, part-time, etc.). Medical/dental/vision benefits are not considered a part of the voluntary benefits plan.
Paydays are bi-weekly every other Friday. We do offer direct deposit and pay cards (which act as a debit card). It will most likely take one pay period before these solutions are active with your accounts so you can expect at least one paper check.
There are no plans to change individual compensation.

Any change will come with the appropriate amount of time, communication, and training needed.
